good review , i recently got this game, and its a complete ass kicker!
my only critique of your review is that 90% of the things you dont like about this game are redundant, as they really dont affect the game unless you bought it for multiplayer functions which arent in it anyway.
but, good review, reviews are to get your views out and not other peoples views :D people miss this point with reviews most of the time!
again, its a dam good game, i had not even heard of this till a month ago,!

You can get the F200 early by sticking with the Crusader, killing everything on the screen and almost never touching secondary weapons until you have 1 million bucks.

I played this game to death in college. When I finally got a game genie and punched in codes for unlimited money and unlimited shots for all secondary weapons it just made it extra satisfying to beat it. You can actually beat the game just by using the f-8, which is challenging but fun.

U.N. Squadron will give many hours of playing time, and unlike many modern games, you'll actually be playing and having fun the whole time!

Hands-down one of the best soundtracks ever put to a game. However, if you didn't grow up with it, you probably won't appreciate it as much as the old school generation does.

I never played UN Squadron, but I played a LOT of Sonic Wings/Aero Fighters, that game is AWESOME!

I was lucky to be born in 88, and got to play the Nes and Snes. This game was one of my favorites, and although I was like 8 when I played it and never got pass the 3 board, I still play it now. It's still hard as hell, but I think that's why I loved it and why I think it's a great game. Everything about this game was good, but sadly Capcom only puts popular games on consoles these days, even if the game wasn't good. Go figure, but thanks for a great review and a trip down memory lane
