It amazes me how videos like this which are supposed to make people happy always seem to draw out venomous hatred (i.e. 'anyone who takes an escalator is a "fat ass pig")

Right, because THAT is the message of this video. It's not "if you make things fun, you can positively alter peoples' choices", it is "people who don't do the nice healthy thing are evil and should be vengefully ridiculed. Jeez.

@aSimulatedHigh: "Replacement" of any product is not acceptable in a free society. We should focus on persuading - not forcing - people to change their habits by making the healthier alternatives more attractive.

That very principle is actually shown in this commercial: people were not "forced" to take the stairs, they had the option to use the escalator but decided against it.
