Does this really have a strong affect on your cardio? I remember hearing some instructors saying that you don't get any cardiovascular benefit unless you are doing an intense working for minimum of 30 minutes, twice per week.

That's a decent cardio workout; but, I would just like to point out (in case this hasn't been mentioned) that 15 seconds * 5 is 75 seconds not 60 so the timing might not be correct as a result.

@happydancer2009 do this for 45 mins compared to 45 mins of running...lol - i did similar stuff for cardio when iw as doing karate and it really seemed to be effective

this guy doesnt know anything about genetics.. im an ecto-meso and if i did this i can lose 1kg every day. Compared to a endomorph it would take 2-3weeks just to lose 1 kg. And how is this any different from running?? Running for 45mins you would burn more calories than 9 mins of this bullcrap.

@crosswire7777 If you want a fat stomach, and big arms, yeah, do that, But if you want to be cut and lean and have a beach body, you have to do cardio and eat right AND lift heavy. Unless you want a pot belly.
