I hope you don't forget to set your clocks back by 1 hour before you go to bed on Saturday. This weekend 31st Oct/1st Nov is the time change for Fall 2009. For most countries that use DST (Daylight Savings Time) Sunday 25th October 2009 is the day for one extra hour of sleep in the morning. But in the USA and Canada it is one week later so before you go to bed on Saturday night put your clock BACK one hour. Amazingly many people still get confused by the DST adjustment so remember "Spring Forward / Fall Back” and enjoy the extra hour.
Another good idea is to put your clock back one hour if you are going out on the town on Saturday night before you leave.
Daylight savings time (DST), also known as Summer time in British English, is the convention of advancing clocks so that afternoons have more daylight and mornings have less. Typically clocks are adjusted forwards one hour near the start of spring and are adjusted backwards in autumn.

Modern DST was first proposed by George Vernon Hudson, a New Zealand entomologist in 1895. Many countries have used it since then. DST was first used in some countries, such as Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom, during World War I as a measure aimed at conserving coal but it was abandoned by many countries after the war, but over the years it has re-emerged within Europe and taken up by many other countries worldwide.
The daylight savings end date in the USA and Canada occurs on the FIRST Sunday of November which is the 1st Nov at at 2AM so if you live on the North American Continent put your clock BACK one hour before you go to bed late on Saturday 31st October to make sure of an extra hour in bed.
